Unlocking a User’s Account

Administrators may receive requests from users to unlock their account after their password had expired and the grace period has run out. When an account is locked, it can be unlocked by a user with Password Policy permissions.

In the case of maximum failed logins, the system can be configured to temporarily lock the user account for a preconfigured period of time. The administrator can override the temporary lock, or the user can wait until the lockout time is over.
